Get an exact quoteThis calculator estimates the cost of digitizing (creating the embroidery file). The cost of stitching or manufacturing physical patches depends on your embroidery shop, quantity and backing. Stitch counts are estimates; the final count depends on the artwork.
We charge by size and placement, not by surprise stitch counts. You pay once for the file and can stitch it as many times as you like.

A full jacket back design around 11 by 11 inches usually lands somewhere between 40,000 and 180,000 stitches. Lettering-only designs sit at the low end, while large solid fills, gradients and detailed illustrations sit at the high end. A left chest logo is usually 5,000 to 12,000 stitches.
Stitch count matters because it drives machine time, thread use and how stiff the finished piece feels. Our digitizers keep large back designs light where they can, with the right underlay and density for heavy fabrics like denim, canvas and fleece, so the design sews smoothly without puckering.

Digitizing a jacket back or large back patch around 10 to 12 inches costs $12 to $15 with NexPunch. Very large or highly detailed designs are quoted before we start, so there are no surprises.

Most designs are delivered within 24 hours. Large back designs can take up to 48 hours.
